While the "People's Champion" and his ill-mannered internet persona may be quite familiar to "millions and millions" of fans somewhere (?), there is a more serious side to the man outside the digital domain. Now 41, Tim has been lifting a very long time and was witness to the legendary goings on at the old Texas Athletic Club in Austin during its heyday in the late 70's. Despite a history of rather catrastrophic injuries to his back, knees and shoulders over the years, Tim has also done (and continues to do) some fine lifting of his own as revealed in the following resume: |
